Look For a Partner, Not a Pitch

You can’t drive people to a website, if you give them the wrong web address.

Walking through a trade show many of the tables are giving out free products ranging from pens and pencils to mousepads and keychains. The room is full of marketing products driving traffic to organizations handing out branded collateral. But what happens when the product you are handing out doesn’t have the correct contact information? What happens when you don’t catch it but a potential customer does?
This is exactly what happened at a trade show that our Promotional Products Consultant, Becky Titelman attended. She happened to be the customer that noticed the web address was spelled wrong on a pen that she was handed.

After realizing the error, that company had a ton of questions flood their mind.

Did we send the web address misspelled? Who signed off on the final proof? Can they be returned? Do we still hand them out? Among all of their questions, one thing they weren’t questioning was if they should use the same promotional product company in the future.
